For us, open-source means:
- quality and security due to the number of updates and code reviews done by the community.
- autonomy since there is no vendor lock-in.
- the opportunity to customize the software to our specific needs.
- the opportunity to improve the software or to get the improvments done by the community.
- the sustainability of the software thanks to the community. It is also possible to maintain the software by ourselves.
That is why we favour open-source when it is possible to. We contribute to projects that meets our daily needs. From now on, we try to open as much code as possible. It starts with some little libraries that could be profitable to the community without any drawbacks for our business.
You can find our open-source libraries on GitHub, Bitbucket.
